Barn Restoration
In the fall of 1998, R. B. Custom Designs Inc. was commisioned to provide Architectural Services for the Dietsche barn relocation and restoration project. The Dietsche's had purchased an existing 150 year old barn near Saukville Wisconsin. The barn had been vacant for a number of years and had suffered wind damage to a portion of the structure. R. B. Custom Designs conducted extensive field documentation and structural analysis of the remaining barn structure, and began the construction document phase of the project. During this phase, the barn was dismantled and relocated to it's new site in Seneca Wisconsin. R. B. Custom Designs Inc. worked painstakingly through out the constuction document phase to ensure that the original integrity and charm of the barn was captured and transformed into the dream residence of the Dietsches.
